Earlier this week, Paramore were in the studios of BBC Radio 1 in London for an interview on BreakFast Show, where we could listen their new single "Now". Behind the radio, the band gave an interview to BBC Newsbeat. Here's the whole interview, check this out, published on the website of the issuer:
The band's third album, Brand New Eyes, was released in 2009 - their fourth self-titled album, will be released in April.
"No, not at all," the 24-year old singer confirmed when asked about the possibility of a solo work. "Definitely do not have any solo work in progress."
"Even if I had, would not have time," she added.
In the past, Williams participated in the song "Airplanes" by BoB, and has performed with the fun. in Radio 1's Live Lounge.
But she said that a solo album is not coming in the future: "First, we took a little rest and then went into the writing process of this album."
I am definitely more in love with this band than I’ve ever been before which, if you know me, that’s kind of impossible. I'm the number one Paramore fan in the world - it's kind of annoying, really. "
The band went through some lineup changes since the release of Brand New Eyes. Guitarist Josh Farro left the band with drummer brother, Zac, in December 2010, claiming that the band had become an "artifact."
Now, the band reduced to a trio, with guitarist Taylor York and bassist Jeremy Davis completing the training.
"Everything happens for a reason," Williams said about the departure of the Farro. "We went through a lot, but that led us to this point. We feel we have the best album we've ever done. We are in a better place and our friendship became stronger. "
"In recent years, it was only to move on and focus on what come next."
They also discussed some of the various influences that helped shape the new album - including the winners of the Mercury Prize, Alt-J.
"They are one of my favorite bands at the moment," said guitarist Taylor York. "I've said this in an interview and then everyone assumed that our band would sound like them. It will not, they are super inspiring for me personally, but I do not think our music reflects that. "
This week (January 22), the Tennessee rockers debuted the first song, "Now," from their new self-titled album, which will be released on April 8 (UK).
